invoicing our sponsors –
Bourne Show Party 2002/3:
Showshack will
probably be performing numbers from My Fair Lady.
Farnham
Operatic Society will be performing but it is uncertain quite what just
yet.
Bourne Show 2002:
The insurance
has been organised.
The
Draw has been finalized with all shops knowing what they are
giving! The Chemist has donated Jubilee
mugs from Grayshott Pottery at Dorcas’ instigation. Toyota has given a £140 Rally jacket and 2
sets of Formula 1 Grand Prix T-shirt, cap and key ring. DC will chase up and collect outstanding
prizes before the Show. Raffle tickets
will be ready by Friday 7 June. LW to

Lincoln. DC will follow up nearer the

Toyota
are hinting at sponsoring 2003 as well.
Ceramic
Café, Toyota stand and Bourne Residents and African craft stalls will be
inside the marquee.
Jubilee
Plate – 50 will be ready by the Show, then one other order will be
accepted, about 2 weeks after the Show.
An invoice for the artwork is included in the overall price per plate of
£18 cost. Committee members wishing to
order a plate to pay cost price. LW and
GK gave out leaflets at the Parish Jubilee Party and there was a lot of
interest. Publicity for the plate went
out in local papers. A5 double-sided
leaflet with picture and order form to be placed inside each programme for
pre-ordering. DCrosby to place leaflet
inside Parish magazine. Andre will have
plate and order forms in Newsagents for people to see (he is to be given a
plate as a thank you).
Hedgehogs – May Minutes show they were refused permission to sell ice-creams at the Show but more details were now available, and after much discussion it was decided that table service, and sundaes were not in competition with our stall and we would let them try it this year. Review of our sales after the Show would show viability for next year.
Go-karts – SW to
investigate placement as they need flat area and this would not be available at
the marquee end of the Green.
Football
Competition – Nike-style competition to be used as takes up less
room. 2 age groups, 6-9 and 10-13
yrs. SW to liase with PH.
Band
positioned by St Martin’s where it is quieter.
Dog Show to be judged by Lucy Hart.
Punch and
Judy to be positioned near fairground and bouncy castle.
Opener to be new
mayor – Penny Marriott and Dr Peter Marriott.
Possibly
no roving mike this year as the one we have used belongs to BBC – SW to
ask at local schools for replacement as the classic cars really need one for
judging.
SW to try
to borrow South Farnham and Parish bunting.
Programme has
raised £320 in advertising. PW to print
off on Saturday 8 June.
Bouncy
Castle needs storing as very heavy – GK offered front garden.
Draw – selling
tickets outside Newsagents on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July 9.00 – 12.00 noon
each day. Volunteers at next meeting.
GK to
liase with ST and SG regarding rosettes.
